Flux Plate’s primary function is to hold the flux within the reservoir while the stamping tool dips into the flux for transfer to the leadframe or substrate. To ensure the volumetric accuracy of the flux within the reservoir, a precision blade or scraper is deployed to scrape across the surface of the flux to ensure that there is no excess or overflow above the reservoir’s defined reservoir depth. From working closely with customers, we know that a Flux Plate’s reservoir depth is instrumental in enabling an accurate flux height during stamping. All our Flux Plates are designed and manufactured with stringent tolerances for reservoir depth control and surface roughness.
