Marifor - the largest meat processing and supply chain in Romania cooperated with Vietnam Manpower in recruiting butchers and food packaging workers
27th November 2018, recruitment campaign for butchers and food packaging workers between Marifor - Romania and Vietnam Manpower took place. Vietnam Manpower is proud to be able to supply all kinds of worker for various fields including food processing industry. Marifor is a brand certified as follows: ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005. Its products are sold at Mariflor chain of stores located in Cluj-Napoca, Gherla, Dej and Huedin, but also through intermediary companies in București, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Mureş, Sălaj, Maramureş, Bihor and Satu Mare. Moreover, we distribute products through large commercial stores like AUCHAN and MEGA IMAGE. In regards to exporting products, Marifor covers different areas in England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, and Austria.

In order to create products that are good enough for Romania market and international market, Marifor has to find a good source of employees. Vietnamese workers have been one of the best options that Marifor considered a good source of employees and come to Vietnam to recruit workers.
First, the employers gave brief introduction about their company business, working scopes of each position and food and accommodation condition for candidate.

The recruitment campaign was conducted into two parts:
Part 1: Butcher test
The exam is conducted on pork meat. First of all, the contestants will practice cutting meat on the ribs and leg bone of the meat. The cut pieces should be equal in size and weight, neat and ensure freshness.

Next, the contestants will filter the meet from the bone on each piece of meat was cut previously, the meat that is filtered should be fresh and not crushed.

Part 2: Food packaging worker test
The next section is food packaging worker test. The packaging must ensure that the outside of the packaging is clean and the packaging must be sealed, ensuring the preservation of food under different conditions.

Part 3: Sausage production test
The sausage production test must be done in a very fast way, technically accurate, on average only 5 seconds on a product. The final product must be clean and have a high homogeneity.
